Shared note	Wahrscheinlich aus der Grafschaft Valkenburg (heutige Niederlande,Limburg) stammende bürgerliche Familie, welche im 16. Jahrhundert zu Weiden im Aachener Reich ansässig war und sich von dort über die Umgegend, insbesondere Aachen, Burtscheid und Eschweiler verbreitete. Ruttger N., ein Sohn von Engel N. zu Weiden verzog 1582 nach Andernach. Von ihm stammten die Noppeneys in Andernach. Johann N. (geb.1478) lebt 1553 als "snitzler oder schreinmacher" im Dorfe Weiden. Heinrich N. (geb. 1494) war 1554 Pastor zu Würselen. Ein anderer Heinrich N. (geb. 1498) war 1543 Forstmeister zu Haaren. Heinrich N., Schützenmeister zu Herzogenrath, empfing 1508 drei Morgen Land und Busch zu Herzogenrath als brabanter Lehen. Kornelius N. (geb. 1504), ein "Baumann" zu Dommerswinkel bei Weiden gab 1544 als Zeuge an, er sei etwa 1000 Aachener Taler reich und verheiratet. Johann N. aus Stolberg war 1527 Anwalt der Reichsleute zu Würselen und Haaren gegen Aachen.
